We had a busy day in Dublin today! We woke up and took the train downtown and then walked to a restaurant called The Queen of Tarts. It was packed and there was a line out the door, but we finally got a table. We each had a scone, and while they were no where near as good as the scones at The Cottage in Derry, they were still pretty tasty!

After breakfast we decided to book a tour at the Guinness Brewery. I bought us GoCity passes for Dublin, so we get free admission for this and 38 other things in Dublin! The Guiness tour was very neat, there were 6 levels, we went through the process of brewing Guinness and the marketing, and up to the very top floor which houses the Gravity Bar with amazing views of the city and a free pint of Guinness!

After Guinness we walked around and found another exhibit including in our pass called Dublinia, which is an interactive exhibit that told the story of Vikings in Ireland. The exhibit is connected to the Christ Church Cathedral which was also included in our pass, so we walked through the Cathedral and the Catacombs.

By this time we were starting to get a little hungry, so we found a restaurant called The Beer Temple, I had a burger and fries, it was pretty good!

After eating we looked up the oldest bar in Dublin and found The Brazen Head which was established in 1198. We had a beer there and then headed back to our AirBnB for a little break!
